DIRECTOR / LEAD ENGINEER / PRODUCER
Allon has been song writing and recording since before tape machines disappeared from studios (and started coming back). Having spent years touring in bands, producing and mixing for commercial projects, he has a creative and technical passion for sound engineering and music producing with a particular love for mix engineering and teaching.
90Deg Studio was an idea started by Allon for Musos Corner in 2014 with the aim of creating a studio, team and facility that could help deliver quality music education and help Newcastle musicians improve, create and capture their musical ideas for commercial release.
Allon has engineered at Abbey Road Studios (UK) and Studios La Fabrique (France) where he studied under famous mix engineer Andrew Schepps (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Adele, Greenday).
He also writes for AudioTechnology Magazine.
His one dream in life, as a sound engineer and producer, is to record a song so perfectly that it doesn’t require mixing.
