Marty has been immersed full time in the music industry for over 20 years, performing all over Australia at various pubs, clubs, theatres, stages, entertainment centres, opera houses, stadiums, cruise ships and street corners.
After a brief flirtation with reality tv fame in the form of Australian Idol in 2004 he has been working behind the scenes as a song writer, session singer, vocal coach and backing vocalist.
As vocal coach and backing vocalist on the first 6 seasons of “The Voice” (The Nine Network), Marty worked closely with The Madden Brothers, Delta Goodrem, Jessie J, Ronan Keating, Seal, Boy George, Kelly Rowland, Will.I.Am, Ricky Martin, Kylie Minogue and Keith Urban.
Marty currently works as a vocal coach for music show “All Together Now” (Channel 7).
As a backing vocalist he has sung with such artists as Good Charlotte, Adele, Lionel Richie, Brian Cadd, Glenn Shorrock, John Paul Young, Russell Morris, Doug Parkinson, Jim Keays and many more. Marty occasionally dabbles in the theatre arts as well and has performed lead roles in The Cars That Ate Paris, Tick Tick Boom!, Rent, The Wild Party, Jesus Christ Superstar and Peter Pan.
Marty is currently in the composition period, learning Ableton and working on creating a new album with producer Allon Silove and the 90Deg Studio team.
VEIINS are a Newcastle-based trio comprising of singer, Liv Gritten, guitarist, Jame Strezov, and keys player, Carter Smyth. Described as ‘Industrial electronica with a rock sensibility’ (Newcastle Live), the trio developed their music as a studio project, releasing their first single, Thief In Your Head (co-produced with Huw Jones) in August, 2016, with a follow up single, This Mess (produced by Huw Jones) in May 2017. VEIINS are currently recording at 90 Degree Studio, in collaboration with Huw Jones and Allon Silove, on a sound that ventures away from previous electronic-driven elements while still keeping with their dark-pop undertones. The trio look forward to the release of their debut album ahead of live shows throughout 2018.

Marissa Saroca is best known as a singer – with two independent original albums, an electrifying journey as a member of Team Lea (Salonga) of season one of The Voice of the Philippines, two ABC Newcastle Music Awards for Best Female Vocals, a finalist in the category of Pop in the 2012 MusicOz Awards, and an extensive recording and live performance career to date.
Her experience in musical theatre dates back to 2006, when she was in her first production of RENT at Civic Playhouse. She then joined casts as feisty performance artist ‘Maureen’ for productions in 2007, 2011 and 2017, her most recent portrayal securing a nomination for a CONDA Award for Excellence by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role. In 2007, Marissa was the lead character ‘Gabriella’ in the arena staging of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL in sold out shows at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre. After competing on The Voice of the Philippines in 2013, Marissa was in two professional musicals on the Philippine stage – GHOST and SHREK in featured ensemble roles. A supporter of original works, Marissa was in the world premiere of the rock opera SHINING ISLE, and the writers’ new Australian work BETWEEN WORLDS which was workshopped and performed at the Australian Theatre for Young People in Sydney in July 2017.
Marissa has released two independent albums of original music CHEAPER THAN THERAPY (2008) and BOYS WRITE LOVE SONGS TOO (2012) and in currently in preproduction for a third.
Marissa is currently in the composition period, working with producer Jesse Schadel, creating a new album with the 90Deg Studio team.
‘Inertia’ are a 3-piece dreamy indie rock band from Newcastle.
Liam Gray started releasing music under the name ‘Inertia’ in 2017. After independently releasing a handful of singles, Liam has now formed a trio with Chris Barnett and Callum Schuck. In late 2017 the trio played several shows showcasing the newly formed band in their hometown.
Inertia hope to keep busy in 2018 with the release of their debut single and shows across the country.
Liam is currently in pre-production working with producer Huw Jones, creating his new EP.
Byren is a dynamic and evocative singer/songwriter and band hailing from Newcastle, Australia. Having formed the initial concept and foundations of his music throughout 2015/16, Byren released a solo project entitled ‘In Solitude, Least Alone’, receiving solid traction locally and online. He later went on to re-record much of this solo material as a live EP with his recently formed band, released in January 2018 as ‘Least Alone, Most Alive’. Now having grown from his inceptive years of live shows, recording and modest touring, Byren is working towards his next full length release in over two years.
